After teaching driver's ed, Josh made the jump to become a full time examiner with the Utah Driver's License Division. As a third party tester he has the ability to give tests more frequently.

All testers must have a valid Utah driver's permit or license, a vehicle with a valid registration to test in, and $65*. If applicable, all testers should have driver's ed completed.

Test Info

Each driving skills test will last approximately 20 minutes. The applicant will demonstrate proficiency in seven driving maneuvers as well as general driving behavior. We are only able to offer the test in English.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call at least an hour before your scheduled time. Three no call/no shows will result in no further appointments being scheduled.

Things you should know about our test

- We do not provide a car for the test. You have a higher chance of passing if you test in a car you have already been driving.

- If your test is a medical retest, we are unable to facilitate that test and you must test with the state.

- Our tester does not speak Spanish and, therefore, cannot administer the test in Spanish. The state does not allow for a passenger so a translator is also not permitted.

- The state does not allow for two tests to be done in the same day, therefore, if you fail your first test, a second must be scheduled for a different day.

Yes. Driver's Ed must be completed before testing including the drive time.

No, you must have a Utah record in order for us to test you.

You can only test once a day.  If you need another test, call us to schedule.

We do not guarantee licensing, we can only administer the road test. Completion of all requirements is up to the license applicant.
